Maintenance Worker Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our team at Rosdev Management Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of facilities, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings, and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Supervision and Teamwork: Supervise other workers and work with minimal supervision to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Physical Demands: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs), bend, crouch, and kneel.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, flexibility, judgement, organized, and reliability.
