About the Role
Convergint Technologies Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Utilities Lead to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading organization in the industrial utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Coordinator and Supervisor to plan the scope of work for exposing and repairing underground utilities piping systems.
- Work with the team to identify leaks in potable, utility, and fire water systems, as well as other industrial piping systems.
- Conduct non-destructive and destructive testing and compaction testing.
- Procure required materials and manage inventory.
- Lead daily toolbox talks and oversee the team on the customer site, ensuring all planned work is handled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Execute all work in accordance with Provincial, local regulations, general best practices, and company health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of previous relevant field experience.
- Significant experience working with underground utilities and civil construction.
- Ground disturbance level 2.
- Previous team leadership or management responsibility.
- Good computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Knowledge in SAP considered an asset.
