Black & McDonald's Ottawa team is growing, and we're seeking a dynamic individual to lead our electrical and utility construction projects. As a Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute construction projects in accordance with corporate policy and company-mandated health and safety standards.
  • Build and maintain customer and supplier/vendor relationships to enhance competitiveness in the industry.
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established schedules.
  • Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients.
  • Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in engineering or business is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the construction industry may substitute for education requirements.
  • 3+ years of experience in the construction industry.
