Job Summary

STERIS is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Representative to join our team. As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation support for complex medical equipment.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Utilize advanced technology to complete administrative tasks and improve the customer experience.
  • Promote STERIS growth by identifying and recommending products and services to customers.
  • Exhibit professionalism at all times and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, managers, and support functions.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechanical, or a related field, plus one to two years of related experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED with minimally two years' relevant experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision and handle multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
Working Conditions

The Field Service Representative will work in a fast-paced environment, often in hospitals, operating rooms, and other healthcare settings. The position requires routine walking, bending, kneeling, and squatting, as well as the ability to lift and move equipment.
