Position Overview

As a Food Service Supervisor at IBY Restaurant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team. Your leadership will ensure that our food service meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring effective workflow and productivity.
  • Training: Provide training to new employees on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to meet operational needs.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service adhere to quality control standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit necessary reports regarding food orders and inventory.
Work Environment

This position is set in a fast-paced restaurant environment where you will be required to work under pressure. The role involves a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with physical demands including bending, crouching, and extended periods of standing.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
