This position is set within a bustling restaurant atmosphere, where teamwork and coordination are key.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Train new employees on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Compile and submit operational reports.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of approximately 5-10 individuals.
Transportation and TravelPublic transportation options are available for commuting to the workplace.
Work ConditionsThis role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, involving a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You should be prepared for extended periods of standing and possess a keen attention to detail.

A minimum of 3 years and up to 5 years of relevant experience in food service supervision is preferred. This is a permanent position, requiring a commitment of 30 hours per week.
