About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Brewing to join our team at MillerCoors Brewing Company. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the brewing operations and ensuring the highest quality products are produced.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Strategy
  • Develop and implement local brewing strategies to meet or exceed annual operating plans.
  • Lead the development of budgetary and capital plans, and review existing equipment capacity and staffing to meet long-range planning goals.
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure that all health, safety, and environment, quality, food safety, cost, and reliability standards are met and driving conformance to regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Optimize performance in all areas of brewing required to achieve business goals using World Class Supply Chain principles and best practices.
Team Leadership
  • Lead and develop a team of employees in the areas of technical and leadership development.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships across the brewery and supply chain network.
Continuous Improvement
  • Pursue and implement cost savings, optimization opportunities, and future manufacturing capabilities.
  • Develop and implement plans for changing workplace strategies adopted by the company in pursuit of its compelling business needs.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of ten (10) years in a leadership position in a high-speed, high-volume unionized manufacturing environment.
  2. Deep understanding of the practices associated with the development and administration of Union contracts.
  3. Advanced familiarity with the various technical aspects of brewing operations.
  4. Advanced knowledge of brewing practices and procedures.
  5. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and managerial ability to directly manage personnel, while providing for their technical training and personal development.
