About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker - Building Services to join our team at Comfort Inn & Suites. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building's maintenance and repair needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the building's systems and equipment are functioning properly.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from staff and guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment as needed.
  • Assist with snow removal and ice control during winter months.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
