Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Southfort Inn. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our building and grounds.

Responsibilities:
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers on a regular basis
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a pleasant atmosphere
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Initiative, organized, and reliable
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
Working Conditions:

This is a physically demanding role that requires repetitive tasks and working in various weather conditions.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule:

35 hours per week.
