About the Opportunity

The Healthcare Support Associate plays a vital role in the healthcare team, providing essential support to patients and clients with daily routines of care and activities of daily living. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing basic care and support functions under the guidance of licensed healthcare professionals
  • Assisting with specimen collection and other related tasks
  • Supporting patients and clients with their daily needs and promoting independence

This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and a passion for working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

About You

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual who possesses the following qualifications and skills:

  • Grade 12 education
  • Previous experience in a related field or education in a healthcare-related program
  • Knowledge of infection control procedures and current BCLS certification
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention training and relevant first aid certifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Competencies in other languages, particularly French

Hours and Compensation

This is a casual relief position with a competitive hourly rate of $20.02.
