About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Tile Shoppe. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality materials and services to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
    • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
    • Manage and maintain relationships with existing suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.
  • Inventory Management
    • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent overstocking and understocking.
    • Implement just-in-time inventory management to minimize waste and optimize storage space.
  • Contract Management
    • Develop and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Monitor and review contract performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis and supplier performance.
    • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
