Position Overview

The Building Maintenance Worker is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of the facilities at THRIVE AUTO COLLISION. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain cleanliness.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers regularly.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to ensure a pleasant atmosphere.
  • Minor Repairs: Make adjustments and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, while coordinating with tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Safety Checks: Conduct safety and security inspections to uphold a secure environment.
  • Furniture Movement: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Seasonal Maintenance: Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas during winter months.
Qualifications
  • Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a maintenance role is considered an asset.
