We are currently seeking a 310T Licensed Truck Mechanic to support our operations in various locations. This role is crucial for maintaining the functionality and safety of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct lubrication and preventative maintenance, along with scheduled repairs of mixer trucks and associated equipment.
  • Operate and assess machinery or heavy equipment to identify issues.
  • Ensure all repairs are executed in accordance with company standards.
  • Test mechanical products and equipment post-repair to confirm optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
  • Diagnose and execute repairs on power train components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems effectively.
  • Address suspension and steering system repairs.
  • Maintain a clean workspace and complete work orders on equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs, including welding and cutting tasks.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid 310T Ontario (Truck and Coach Mechanic) License.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience at the journeyman level.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding maintenance manuals.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of truck air brake systems with diagnostic and repair capabilities.
  • Skills in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks requiring lifting, kneeling, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling, including working at heights and in confined spaces.
