About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Castle Hospitality Group Ltd. o/a Ranchers Castle. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Keep records of the quantities of food used.
  • Package take-out food.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet the demands of our busy kitchen. You will be required to handle heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Will train.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week.
