Technical Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead Software Engineer to join our team at the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario). As a key member of our Supply Chain Technology team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical direction and evolution of our Transportation IT capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and oversee the implementation of Transportation system transformation strategies and programs.
  • Provide technical guidance and advice to senior IT leaders, business professionals, and software engineers on best-in-class practices.
  • Analyze current and new business information systems requirements to design new applications and data transformations.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to define technical specifications and oversee the development of high-quality documentation.
  • Solve complex technical problems that cross application boundaries and technical layers.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in distribution and a post-secondary education in Systems, Business processes, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Expert technical understanding of Transportation IT systems, including data flows and business processes.
  • Experience with Transportation management systems, including SAP- S/4HANA, Routing Tools, and other related technologies.
  • Ability to keep up-to-date on best practices and apply them to solutions.
