About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at 2535764 Ontario Inc. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record-Keeping
    • Accurately record and classify financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Payroll and Benefits
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
    • Process payroll and benefits
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial reports and statements
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to management
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Skills
    • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team. They will have strong attention to detail and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
