About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at EXCELLENCY SERVICES INC. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for management, including statistical and accounting reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, as well as maintain accurate records of tax payments.
  • Financial Systems: Maintain and update financial systems, including manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail.
