Men's Tailoring Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Men's Tailoring Specialist to join our team at Sixteen Nine Enterprises Inc.. This role involves creating and modifying garments to meet specific customer needs and industry standards.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in tailoring or alterations.
The ideal candidate should be willing to relocate and work in a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities- Craft made-to-measure garments according to client specifications.
- Fit, alter, and repair clothing as necessary.
- Design and construct hats by laying out, cutting, sewing, and pressing materials.
- Modify or re-style fur garments and accessories.
- Utilize sewing machines or hand-sewing techniques.
- Select and adapt commercial patterns to meet client and manufacturer specifications.
- Create custom patterns based on measurements.
- Mark, cut, and sew various fabrics.
- Cotton, synthetic fabrics, and textiles.
- Furs and skins.
- Nylon, polyester, satin, silk, and velvet.
- Alterations and repairs.
- Tailoring expertise.
- Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to distinguish colors.
- Physical stamina for a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Capability to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
- Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral communication abilities.
- Flexible, organized, and reliable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
This is a permanent position requiring 30 to 40 hours of work per week, with English as the primary working language.
