We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team at Sixteen Nine Enterprises Inc. as a Men's Garment Alterations Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, custom-made garments and alterations for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Garment Creation: Design and create custom-made garments according to customer specifications, using a variety of fabrics and materials.
- Alterations and Repairs: Make alterations and repairs to existing garments, ensuring a perfect fit and finish.
- Pattern Making: Create and modify commercial patterns to fit customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit.
- Material Selection: Select and source high-quality fabrics and materials for garment creation and alterations.
- Quality Control: Ensure all garments and alterations meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in garment alterations and creation.
- Skills: Excellent attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to distinguish between colors. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling. Physically demanding role requiring manual dexterity and stamina.
