About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team at Sixteen Nine Enterprises Inc. as a Men's Garment Alterations Specialist. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, custom-made garments for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Garment Alterations and Repair: Make precise alterations and repairs to men's garments, ensuring a perfect fit and finish.
  • Custom Garment Creation: Design and create custom-made garments for clients, using commercial patterns and materials.
  • Pattern Making and Design: Select and modify commercial patterns to fit clients' specifications and create new patterns to meet their needs.
  • Material Selection and Preparation: Choose and prepare materials, including fabrics, furs, and skins, for garment production.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and ensure the quality of all garments produced, meeting our high standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate and work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling, with a physically demanding workload.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, client focus, and team player skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
