Job Overview
The Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and liver transplant surgical team at Vancouver General Hospital is eager to integrate proficient Medical Associate Physicians into their esteemed program.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and oversee the care of surgical patients before and after procedures
- Provide surgical support during HPB and related surgical interventions
- Deliver consultations for HPB patients in both emergency and inpatient environments
- Aid in discharge planning and contribute to collaborative team efforts
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of accredited postgraduate training
- Successful completion of required examinations and possession of a medical degree
- Proficiency in the English language
- Valid Canadian Citizenship or eligibility to work in British Columbia
- ACLS certification
