**Job Summary**
The Payroll Administrator is accountable for a wide range of payroll-related duties, including processing payrolls, entering new hires, terminations, employee changes, and payroll reports. This role requires the ability to maintain confidentiality and interact well with others within a repetitive, multitasking environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparation of weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls.
- Responding to payroll-related queries.
- Generating ROE's.
- Processing deductions.
- Settling and exporting miles and earnings.
- Remittance and payroll reports.
**Requirements**
- Interest in achieving designation through the Canadian Payroll Association.
- Post-secondary education related to payroll considered an asset.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for working with numbers and data entry.
- Ability to manage in a multi-task environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and be adaptable.
- Proficient in using Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Previous experience in the Trucking Industry would be an asset.
- Previous experience in Great Plains Software and TMW would be an asset.
- Experience in an office setting with additional payroll experience considered to be an asset.
