**Job Summary**

The Payroll Administrator is accountable for a wide range of payroll-related duties, including processing payrolls, entering new hires, terminations, employee changes, and payroll reports. This role requires the ability to maintain confidentiality and interact well with others within a repetitive, multitasking environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Preparation of weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls.
  • Responding to payroll-related queries.
  • Generating ROE's.
  • Processing deductions.
  • Settling and exporting miles and earnings.
  • Remittance and payroll reports.

**Requirements**

  • Interest in achieving designation through the Canadian Payroll Association.
  • Post-secondary education related to payroll considered an asset.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for working with numbers and data entry.
  • Ability to manage in a multi-task environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and be adaptable.
  • Proficient in using Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Previous experience in the Trucking Industry would be an asset.
  • Previous experience in Great Plains Software and TMW would be an asset.
  • Experience in an office setting with additional payroll experience considered to be an asset.
