Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Slot Service Representative to join our team at Casino Nova Scotia. As a key member of our gaming floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment, and promoting a positive gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional guest services, including greeting and interacting with guests, providing change for playing slot machines, and completing jackpot pay-outs.
  • Maintain the security of assets on the gaming floor and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and upcoming promotions and launches, and be knowledgeable about all aspects of the Players Club Program.
  • Encourage new Players Club sign-ups and communicate the value of the program to guests.
  • Go the extra mile for our guests with friendly service and thoughtful gestures that create lasting connections.
  • Execute promotions on the gaming floor and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent is required.
  • Certification as a Slot Service Representative with the AGD is required upon hiring.
  • Satisfactory attendance is required.
  • Proven ability to handle cash accurately and demonstrate effective interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Proven strong customer service skills for the delivery of outstanding guest service.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
Work Environment

Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, non-traditional work hours.
