Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell both new and used material handling machinery within the assigned Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
  • Conduct travel throughout the AOR to effectively engage with all current and potential clients.
  • Enhance our customer base by:
    • Increasing the spending of our existing clients
    • Attracting new clientele
    • Identifying and nurturing Key Strategic Customers (both existing and new) and implementing a growth strategy
    • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships
  • Stay informed about customers' business activities and requirements.
  • Prepare and update customer status reports, including:
    • Sales call activities
    • Lists of current and prospective clients
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional initiatives for your AOR.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and industry trends.
  • Complete all sales documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Manage travel logistics and expenses efficiently.
  • Perform additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Dynamic, motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Demonstrated success in building and expanding sales within a designated territory.
  • Familiarity with the Material Handling sector, with relevant experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned AOR.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license (recent driver's abstract required).
  • Valid passport and availability for international travel.
  • Bilingualism (English & French) is an advantage.
