Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Howard Johnson Grande Prairie. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations.
  • Clerical Duties: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and perform clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Will Train: Yes.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week.
