Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Planner to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing healthcare planning strategies that align with our organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement healthcare planning strategies that align with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct facility assessments and develop plans for the renovation and expansion of healthcare facilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to identify and prioritize healthcare needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in healthcare planning and delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration, public health, or urban planning.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare planning or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Professional certification in healthcare planning or a related field.
  • Experience working in a healthcare planning or policy role.
