Role Overview:

As a Client Experience Advisor, you will be instrumental in cultivating member-centric advisory relationships. Your responsibilities will include onboarding both retail and business members sourced through traditional and omni-channel methods, identifying member needs, and presenting our tailored solutions. This role involves managing smaller accounts and providing essential transactional support, as well as facilitating access to various lending and investment products and services, including unsecured loans, mortgage renewals, broker mortgage onboarding, term deposits, and Visa offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new retail and business members while initiating relationship-building conversations.
  • Enhance member relationships through Financial Health Checks, effective pipeline management, and strategic referrals to Relationship Managers and Line of Business Specialists.
  • Serve as the primary advisor for opening new business accounts and handling business signing officer changes.
  • Assist members in accessing lending products by processing small unsecured loans and managing mortgage renewals.
  • Support Member Service Specialists by completing front-line transactions as required.
  • Provide omni-channel assistance for the Member Service Centre by addressing member inquiries as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 12 (or equivalent).
  • A diploma or degree in Business Administration or Marketing is an asset.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a financial services setting, with exposure to lending and investment products, and a focus on identifying member needs.
  • Knowledge of mutual funds is preferred.
  • Possession of a mutual funds sales license or willingness to obtain one within 12 months.
  • Experience in a professional sales environment is advantageous.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial products, services, and retail lending.
  • Ability to confidently provide advice in diverse member situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in technology and systems.
