Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen inbound and outbound trucks at the gatehouse to ensure the safety and security of our facility.
  • Monitor and control access to the transport office area to prevent unauthorized entry.
  • Provide proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents.
  • Ensure that all security protocols and procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to maintain a secure environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees.
  • Write reports on job-related activities and incidents.

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Proven experience in security, preferably in a gatehouse or similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and observation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
