Job Title: Glass Installation Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Assistant to join our team at Norfinch Glass & Mirror mfg Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting our glaziers with various tasks related to glass installation and fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, and perform routine maintenance work.
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to specifications.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 to 35 hours of work per week.
