Job Title: Glass Installation Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Glass Installation Assistant to join our team at Sherwood Windows Limited. As a key member of our installation team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of our projects.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons with glass installation, loading and unloading construction materials, and performing other labouring and elemental activities. If you are a hardworking and reliable individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist skilled tradespersons with glass installation, including loading and unloading materials
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
  • Utilize hand and power tools
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities
  • Operate or tend automated assembling equipment
  • Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or truck
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
