Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned project manager to lead our team in delivering successful projects that drive our business forward. As a project manager/leader, you will be responsible for leading project teams to achieve project objectives in a complex and diverse environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated project plans in accordance with OPS project management methodologies.
  • Ensure effective communication and control of project scope, time, and cost.
  • Identify, track, report, and resolve project issues and risks.
  • Maintain project documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Facilitate team, vendor, and client meetings.
  • Report on project progress and provide timely status updates.
  • Lead the development of a solution requirement specification for the options analysis component of the business case.
  • Assist in the detailed evaluation of build/procurement options for input into the business case.
  • Conduct, assess, evaluate, and document stakeholder interests and business needs.
  • Demonstrate alignment with program area requirements and associated architectures.
  • Prepare project plans, charters, and other related project deliverables.
  • Ensure alignment with the Ministry of Government Services' processes and standards.
  • Interface directly with program area staff and management to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to internal staff upon project completion.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of project management experience managing large, complex application development projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with project scheduling, planning, issue/risk management, and status reporting.
  • Understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle and Agile development concepts.
  • Ability to manage project resources effectively.
  • Knowledge and application of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, prioritizing, mitigating, and communicating project risks.
  • Experience working with Mission Critical applications (e.g., OTIS).
  • Experience with managing technical teams using Azure Cloud, Mobile technology,.Net, Oracle, and SQL servers.
  • Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Political acuity and sound judgment.
  • Knowledge transfer skills.
