About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Courier Driver to join our team at Express Parcel. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing, packaging, and restocking goods, as well as recording trip information and performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Transportation and Travel: Transport and handle dangerous goods, load and unload goods, sort packages for delivery, and follow directions and read maps to ensure efficient delivery routes.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Transportation and Travel: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check, bondability, and a drug test are required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, physically demanding tasks, and handling heavy loads.
