Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Courier Driver to join our team. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up: Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as preparing, packaging, and restocking goods, as well as maintaining accurate records of items received and delivered.
  • Transportation and Travel: Transport and handle dangerous goods, load and unload goods, sort packages for delivery, and follow directions and read maps to ensure efficient delivery routes.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, and undergo regular security checks, including criminal record checks and driving record checks.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
