About the Role

Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society is seeking a skilled and compassionate Intake Worker to join our team. As an Intake Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being of our community members by providing intake services, assessing client needs, and connecting them with appropriate resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the Effectiveness of Social Programs
  • Assess Client Needs and Develop Service Plans
  • Provide Intake Services and Support
  • Collaborate with Community Partners and Agencies
  • Contribute to the Development of Community Programs
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate
  • 1 to Less than 7 Months of Experience
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
