Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team at JobCart Inc. As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG welding on various metal components
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and press brake machines
  • Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
  • Use calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precise measurements
  • Assist with rigging and moving materials using forklifts and other equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet production goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • Specializing in Tungsten Inert Gas arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)
  • Operate manual TIG welding equipment & setup
  • Tack and Fit assemblies independently
  • Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Custom fabrication, Machinery or equipment repair, Stainless Steel welding, Gas Welding Machine
  • Types of Materials: Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, & Aluminum alloys in light gauges < 1/8" thick
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and standing for long periods
  • Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs
