Job Summary

As an Automotive Fleet Technician at UPS, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty machinery, on-road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and maintain/repair various systems, including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronics, and engines.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify equipment issues and recommend repairs.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective equipment maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for equipment maintenance and repair.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
