The Toronto branch of RBC Dominion Securities is seeking a proactive, efficient, and team-oriented individual to become a part of our esteemed wealth management organization as an Associate.

In this role, you will provide exceptional service and support to both our clients and the Advisor team, facilitating the enhancement of existing relationships and the integration of new clients into our firm. As a vital point of contact, you will be instrumental in managing client accounts, ensuring that account administration and documentation are current and compliant, while collaborating with an Investment Advisor to oversee client portfolios and wealth management strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee existing client accounts and identify opportunities for client engagement, managing timelines and critical dates to ensure clients feel valued and supported.
  2. Address client inquiries promptly and effectively, covering account transactions, requests, documentation, and reporting.
  3. Utilize your strong problem-solving abilities to deliver proactive client service, collaborating with various departments to ensure timely solutions.
  4. Manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and other internal and external stakeholders efficiently.
  5. Assist the Advisor team in the onboarding process for new clients.
  6. Leverage your organizational skills to coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with their clients and prospects.
  7. Become knowledgeable about internal controls and industry regulations, ensuring that client files and documentation are accurate and compliant.
  8. Utilize your social media expertise to update the team's communication platforms, including websites and newsletters.
  9. Follow up on client transactions to ensure proper execution and delivery.
  10. Support the Advisor team and clients throughout the Wealth Management process, maintaining an audit of Wealth Management activities and priorities.

Qualifications for Success

Essential Requirements

  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
  • Proficient in business applications and technology, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures.
  • Experience in the securities industry is advantageous.
