Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Lead the culinary team in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless service during lunch hours
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Ensure proper rotation and labeling of all foodstuffs
  • Follow established work methods and use designated products and equipment

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and sanitation techniques
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • MAPAQ Food Handler certification an asset
