Job Title: Liaison Officer H/F

The Coalition of Nunavut District Education Authorities (CNDEA) is seeking a highly skilled Liaison Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing training and support to local District Education Authority (DEA) Board members and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide training and daily support to DEA Board members and staff
  • Conduct research and provide assistance to DEA staff
  • Collaborate with staff and boards to provide mentorship and training
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with DEA stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bilingual in Inuktitut and English
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Nunavut's educational program, including policies and practices
  • Public speaking skills in both English and Inuktitut
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with DEAs is an asset
