ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Fitness Technology Specialist, you will embody a passion for health, innovation, and the Peloton brand. Reporting to the Store Manager, your primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional in-store experiences and sales assistance within our retail environment. You will inform customers about the diverse range of Peloton products and services, fostering meaningful interactions, tailored solutions, and facilitating sales. Your role is crucial in representing Peloton and you will take pride in assisting others in their journey to becoming Peloton Members.

This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime. You may work either full-time or part-time.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE COMPANY

  • Deliver outstanding service and solutions to all current and prospective Members
  • Remain informed about new products, features, and content
  • Assist customers in identifying the ideal product that meets their needs
  • Achieve or surpass established performance targets
  • Participate in various store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, marketing, and other assigned tasks
  • Engage in cross-functional initiatives that may involve Commercial, Third Party Retail, Corporate Wellness, community events, and Member Support

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • A strong enthusiasm for fitness, technology, and the Peloton brand
  • Approachable demeanor, excellent listening skills, and empathy
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, service, or fitness within a customer-focused environment
  • Ability to craft immersive customer experiences
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ambitious, diligent, and a team player
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including the capacity to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
  • High school diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role is primarily active, requiring prolonged periods of standing and walking, as well as bending and lifting items weighing 25 lbs or more. The physical requirements outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
