Human Resources Coordinator

At Selectpath, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our HR initiatives across our three broker brands. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a junior to intermediate HR professional to develop their skills and advance their career in the HR field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support full cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, administering online assessments, coordination of interviews, reference checks, and collection of background checks.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of onboarding materials, scheduling orientations, and conducting initial employee introductions.
  • Maintain and update employee records into the HRIS, process HR documents, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, answer employee queries regarding benefits, and coordinate with benefits providers.
  • Act as a liaison with carriers to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Organize training sessions, track employee participation, and manage training records.
  • Provide support in addressing employee inquiries and concerns and assist with conflict resolution.
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with labor laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute HR reports and metrics as required by management.
  • Support HR initiatives and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • Completion of University Degree/College Diploma in Human Resources Management.
  • Experience with HR Collage HRIS would be an asset.
  • 2+ years work experience in an HR recruitment or administrative capacity.
  • Advanced knowledge and application of MS suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
