Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass, lay sod or seed, and apply fertilizers as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including sprayers and dusters.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, and write daily progress reports.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens, and ensure they are healthy and thriving.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, bending, and crouching.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic are essential.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Worker, you will be working outdoors in various locations, including private residences and landscape contractor sites. You will be exposed to the elements and may be required to work in extreme weather conditions.

Language and Communication

The primary language of work is English, and you must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
