Position Overview

CEDA is currently looking for Operators for our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain combo, semi-vac, super B, tri-quad, and pressure truck equipment along with various specialized tools
  • Work safely at heights of up to 40 feet in a physically demanding role
  • Safely enter small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced team is here to support you
  • Perform minor maintenance and inspections on equipment
  • Ensure the safety of all team members and property
  • Deliver quality services to our clients
  • Collaborate as part of a team and follow supervisory instructions
  • Acquire new skills daily by rigging in and out specialty equipment
  • Leave job sites cleaner and safer than when we arrived. Ensure tasks are completed effectively.
  • Transport hoses, PPE, and tools to work locations
  • Complete necessary documentation for projects and tasks
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 license with no more than 5 demerits in the past 3 years is mandatory
  • A natural inclination for driving; manual transmission is second nature, and you will excel in CEDA's driver assessment
  • 1+ years of experience in an industrial setting with pressure and vacuum equipment is preferred
  • H2S Alive and CSO (Common Safety Orientation or CSTS-09) certifications are required
  • Confined Space - Entry & Monitor, Elevated Work Platform, and Supervisor Ground Disturbance Level II certifications are advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided

Skills

  • Strong mechanical skills
  • A safety-first mindset regarding personnel and equipment
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing multiple flights of stairs and lifting equipment (able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds)
