About the Role

CEDA is seeking skilled Operators to join our team at our Conklin location. As an Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our pressure equipment and heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain a range of pressure equipment, including combo, semi-vac, super B, tri-quad, and pressure truck equipment.
  • Work at heights up to 40 feet in a labor-intensive capacity, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment, with the support of our experienced crew.
  • Perform minor maintenance and checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure the safety of all team members and property, adhering to CEDA's strict safety standards.
  • Provide high-quality services to our clients, meeting their needs and expectations.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, following direction from supervision and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Leave the job site in a better condition than when you arrived, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Haul hoses, PPE, and tools to where the work is being done, efficiently and safely.
  • Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs, accurately and on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision, contributing to the success of the team and the company.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years.
  • Proven experience in an industrial environment, with a strong background in pressure and vacuum equipment.
  • H2S Alive and CSO (Common Safety Orientation or CSTS-09) certifications are required.
  • Confined Space - Entry & Monitor, Elevated Work Platform, and Supervisor Ground Disturbance Level II tickets are an asset, but not required - we can provide training.
