Position Overview: Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team at Perfect Care Nursing Agency Inc.. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting operations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education
  • Experience: Between 1 to 2 years in a related field
  • Employment Type: Permanent position
  • Language Proficiency: English
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours weekly
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process payroll cheques
  • Calculate and manage fixed assets and their depreciation
  • Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Oversee general ledgers and generate financial statements
  • Record journal entries accurately
  • Compile statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns
  • Generate trial balances for financial books
  • Conduct account reconciliations
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Familiarity with MS Word
  • Experience with spreadsheet applications
