About the Role

Framar International Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, and managing accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Accounts Payable: Manage and process accounts payable, including vendor invoices and payments.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Prepare and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Payroll: Prepare and process payroll, including employee data and benefits.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems, and preparing reports.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in Simply Accounting and MS Excel. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
