About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Airport Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Standards: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and recommend additional services such as room upgrades or special amenities.
  • Assist with Daily Operations: Assist housekeeping staff with their duties, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that the housekeeping department is adequately staffed and that tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or supervisory role
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking; standing for extended periods
