Job Title: Prime Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Prime Therapist to join our team at Homewood Ravensview, a leading mental health and addiction treatment center in Canada.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure seamless services and programs
  • Provide consultation and training to team members in specific areas of expertise
  • Liaise with referral sources and provide written progress reports
  • Support client discharge planning and coordinate outpatient counseling and referrals
  • Advocate for clients to promote self-advocacy and develop safety plans
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling)
  • Registration with a professional body in the province of BC
  • Training and familiarity with CBT, DBT, CPT, and mindfulness modalities
  • Knowledge of addictions and mental health continuum of care
  • Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality guidelines and maintain ethical therapeutic relationships
