About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Moosomin Country Squire Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish Operational Procedures: Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of hotel rooms and public areas.
  • Select and Purchase Equipment and Supplies: Source and purchase high-quality cleaning equipment and supplies to maintain the hotel's standards.
  • Plan and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and on time.
  • Coordinate Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure that they meet the hotel's standards.
  • Ensure Safety Standards: Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and adhere to safety standards and departmental policies.
  • Maintain Inventory: Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure that they are adequate and up-to-date.
  • Schedule and Assign Duties: Schedule and assign duties to housekeeping staff to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
