Restaurant Shift Manager

We are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.
Key Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of performance and customer satisfaction
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand
- Hire and train food service staff to ensure that our team is equipped to provide excellent customer service
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure that all food is presented in a visually appealing and appetizing manner
- Inspect sites or facilities to ensure that they meet safety and cleanliness standards, identifying and addressing any issues promptly
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met, promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all staff
As a Shift Manager at Tim Hortons, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet customer demand and maintain high standards of quality and service. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have excellent attention to detail to ensure that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
Requirements- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality environment
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Fluency in French, with excellent oral communication skills
